Nellie M. Quander’s strategic foresight and commitment ensured that the vision of the organization’s Founders would be preserved through meaningful planning and a national structure. Our incorporation represented a pivotal step in protecting the future our sisterhood.

Today, 113 years later, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority continues to benefit from this decisive action, upholding our Principle, Preservation, and Perpetuity.
