Leadership Scholarship
In 2020, Omega Theta Omega experienced the deeply impactful loss of Charter Member Dinisa Hardley Folmar. Dinisa was the heart of the Pearls of Arabia and essential to the work that brought Omega Theta Omega Chapter to fruition. She bravely battled cancer while still showing up for her sisters and being present for the chapter.

To honor her memory, the OTO Charter Members established the Dinisa Folmar Leadership Scholarship for sophomores and juniors attending HBCUs in the South Atlantic (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina) and South Central (Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico) Regions. We dedicate this celebration of ten years of her beloved chapter to Dinisa’s labor of love that brought us here today.
